Irene Hernanperez Malvezi

My Tree of Life

Tree barks, twigs, cloths, clay, wire, acrylics, strings, shells, pebbles and collected objects.
Size: 100cm x 100cm

My Tree of Life’s branches are holding objects symbolic of personal memories. The river symbolises my childhood. The Tree grows from the river and it seems to take the form of a powerful splash of water or fountain. It is about continuous learning, growth, strength, endurance, memories, changes and transformations.
